Vancouver International Airport

The Canada Line - Metro Vancouver Rapid Transit

The airport has its own station on the SkyTrain network called YVR-Airport, the terminus of the Sea Island branch of the Canada Line, to which the airport contributed $300 million towards construction. The Canada Line itself opened in August 2009 as the third line of Vancouver’s rapid transit network, in advance of the 2010 Winter Olympics, which took place the following February. It was the only airport rail link service of any kind in Canada until the opening of Toronto’s Union Pearson Express in 2015. The SkyTrain’s Canada Line provides rapid rail service linking YVR to downtown Vancouver and parts of Richmond. Trains leave the airport station approximately every seven minutes during most times of the day. There are 16 stops along the line, with downtown Vancouver stops including Yaletown, Vancouver City Centre and Waterfront—the terminus for the line.

How To Get To The Beautiful Victoria?

How To Get To Whistler?
